I. Basic Requirements for Candidates


Candidates must uphold the correct political orientation, support the Constitution of the People's Republic of China, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system, implement the Party's line, principles, and policies, be loyal to and passionate about the Party's educational endeavors, practice core socialist values, and comply with professional ethics, laws, regulations, and relevant university policies.


II. Types of Talents Recruited


(1) Outstanding Academic Talents (Teaching and Research Positions)


Recruitment Conditions: 4 positions are available. Required disciplines: Engineering (08), Design Studies (13). We appreciate those who possess strong academic capabilities and influential representative achievements within the discipline. And candidates Should demonstrate development potential, possess innovative ideas for the discipline's development, and have the potential to support the discipline in maintaining or striving for domestic advanced standing. Generally should have postdoctoral experience (2 years or more) from renowned domestic or international universities or research institutes, experience in leading national-level research projects, and the potential to compete for national-level youth talent programs. The initial employment contract for new hires will be for a probationary period of 6 years; a renewal contract will be signed upon passing the probationary assessment.


(2) Outstanding PhDs (Experimental Positions)


Recruitment Conditions: 1 position available. Required disciplines: Engineering (08), Design Studies (13). Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree and a doctoral degree from high-level universities, research institutes, or renowned overseas universities, with excellent educational background at all stages and a closely related or relevant major. Age should generally be under 32 years old, extendable to 40 for exceptionally qualified candidates.


III. Salary and Benefits


We offer a competitive salary for Outstanding Academic Talents with substantial research start-up funds, and provide high-level experimental platforms and research environments. Specific terms are negotiable on an individual basis. We provide one talent housing unit or a housing purchase subsidy, assist in arranging employment for spouses, offer access to a seamless chain of high-quality educational resources from kindergarten through high school for children, and provide high-quality medical security services through the university's affiliated tertiary Grade A hospital.


Outstanding doctors enjoy salary and welfare benefits as stipulated by national regulations and a housing purchase subsidy. No research start-up funds are provided and they are not permitted to transfer to other positions during employment. We also provide public rental housing, access to a seamless chain of high-quality educational resources from kindergarten through high school for children, and high-quality medical security services through the university's affiliated tertiary Grade A hospital. Additionally, PhD graduates who meet the criteria of Nanchang City's new "Ten Talent Measures" can enjoy the living subsidies stipulated in the document.


IV. Recruitment Procedure


The recruitment process will be organized and implemented according to the procedures of application, assessment, physical examination, background investigation, public announcement, and employment. This recruitment plan will be implemented throughout 2026 until positions are filled. Starting no less than 10 working days after the announcement's release, the School will organize assessments periodically based on the application situation. The number of candidates invited for assessment is not subject to a minimum enrollment ratio requirement.

Applicants must fill out and submit relevant materials truthfully and carefully. Applicants shall bear the consequences arising from providing false information.

(2) Assessment


The School will conduct assessments using one or multiple formats as needed. Representative achievements will be sent for external peer review. Based on the external review results and after university approval, candidates will be selected for admission. The assessment time and location will be notified separately by the School.


(3) Physical Examination


1.  Based on the assessment results, candidates will be selected for physical examination at a ratio of 1:1 to the number of positions available.

2.  The physical examination will be conducted at a location designated by our university. The examination standards refer to the "Measures for Physical Examination of Teacher Qualification Applicants (Revised) in Jiangxi Province" (Gan Jiao Gui Zi [2021] No. 3) and relevant university regulations. Candidates must be in good physical and mental health.


(4) Background Investigation


A background investigation will be conducted for those who pass the physical examination, to comprehensively understand the candidate's political integrity, moral character, work ability, compliance with laws and discipline, integrity and self-discipline, performance in study and work, and physical and mental health.


(5) Public Announcement


After passing the assessment and physical examination, and upon approval by the university, the basic information, position, and other relevant details of the proposed hires will be publicly announced on campus for five days, followed by a one-week public announcement submitted to the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security.


(6) Employment


1.  If no objections are raised during the public announcement period, relevant onboarding procedures will be completed. A probation period assessment will be implemented in accordance with national regulations. Failure to pass the probation assessment will result in termination of employment as per relevant regulations.

2.  New staff recruited through open recruitment will enjoy the treatment of public institution staff, be uniformly managed under the staffing filing system, and receive benefits in accordance with relevant regulations.
