Youth Practice on the Red Land: NCU Students Visit Ruijin's Yeping to Explore the Original Aspiration of the Revolution

Recently, the "Crafting Dreams, Tracing Red Footprints" practice team from Nanchang University set foot on the red soil of Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province, carrying out a red study and practice activity at the Yeping Red Tourism Area. In the process of exploring red historical sites, the team members gained a deeper understanding of the revolutionary spirit and drew motivation to forge ahead.

Guided by a docent, the team members entered the site of the First National Congress of the Chinese Soviet Republic. Each historical site serves as a vivid footnote to the revolutionary epic. The former site of the Central Bureau of the CPC Soviet Area, once the highest leading institution of the Party across all Soviet regions, witnessed the glorious moment of the establishment of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic in 1931. Countless decisions that shaped the course of the revolution were made right here.

"When I joined the Party, I was determined to face death unflinchingly. I firmly believe that the Communist Party will win, and the revolution will succeed." Inside this building that has witnessed pivotal moments in China’s revolution, the practice team held a revolutionary family letter recitation session titled "Crafting Dreams, Reciting Faith: Experiencing Red Footprints Through Voice." Using their voices as a bridge, they achieved emotional resonance across time and space with the revolutionary martyrs. The sincerity and tragic heroism embedded between the lines not only decoded the revolutionary stories behind these letters but also allowed the team members to gather youthful strength through empathy, laying a firmer foundation for their red faith.

The team members then walked slowly to the Yeping Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower. The towering monument is inlaid with cobblestones, each symbolizing a fallen Red Army martyr. The path in front of the tower is engraved with the words "Advance in the footsteps of the martyrs," a sobering reminder that only by remembering the loyal souls of the martyrs can one stay true to one's original aspiration. Party members in the team stood solemnly before the memorial tower, facing the Party flag, and raised their right fists to renew their oath of Party membership. Their voices rang out firm and resonant. This was both a heartfelt tribute to the revolutionary martyrs resting here and a solemn promise of loyalty to the Party organization.

The team members reflected that this practice journey was not only an immersion in red education but also a vivid "Great Ideological and Political Course." Through a series of activities, they not only systematically organized the threads of revolutionary history but also truly felt the immense power of the revolutionary spirit. Looking ahead, the team members will take the resilience of the revolutionary forebears as their anchor, set their course by their ideals and convictions, build their dreams with their original aspiration, and integrate their youthful strength into the grand journey of national construction.
