2025 International Symposium on Design Innovation and Development (DID 2025) Successfully Held in Nanchang

From October 24 to 25, 2025, the 2025 International Symposium on Design Innovation and Development (DID 2025), hosted by Nanchang University and organized by its School of Architecture and Design, was grandly held in Nanchang. Ge Gang, Vice President of Nanchang University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, while Li Zhixiu, Dean of the School, presided over the event.

With the theme of "Intelligent Creation for Symbiosis", the symposium attracted more than 350 experts, scholars and young design researchers from renowned universities and research institutions at home and abroad, including the Royal College of Art and Zhejiang University. In the invited lecture session, a number of well-known Chinese and foreign experts shared the latest research results around cutting-edge directions such as intelligent design and green manufacturing. The symposium established five major themes and five parallel forums, where over 30 experts conducted in-depth discussions on design interdisciplinary integration and innovation, putting forward many insightful views.

The successful holding of this symposium has strengthened academic exchanges and cooperation in the global design field, provided important support for the development of design disciplines and the integration of industry, education and research in Jiangxi Province and Nanchang University, further enhanced Nanchang University's international influence in this field, and contributed to the university's  construction.
